Kissa Under The Mistletoe by Courtney Sheets

Blurb

Professor Lucas Slate is sexy and smart and can have any woman in the world. What could he possibly want with his size fourteen best friend Kissa Nazir? When he asks her to go with him to London for the Christmas season, she thinks it is friendly moral support. But what she doesn’t know is Lucas has other plans in mind for her.

For five years, Lucas has waited for a chance to show the beautiful bellydancer he can be more than just a friend. Not taking any more chances on Kissa’s love, he’ll lie if he has to, cheat all the fates, and whisk her away for the holidays. One way or another, Lucas plans to live out his long-awaited fantasy. At the end of this holiday season, he’s stealing more than a “Kissa Under the Mistletoe”.

Excerpt

“Cold? We'll be in the library soon. It's just around the corner.”

“I'm fine.” She lifted her face up to his and met his gaze. Heat flared in his eyes turning them a rich navy. His lips spread into a wolfish grin, as if he could see the images in her head. She was trying to behave, but now she'd had a taste of him, she wanted more.

“I can see.”

He pulled her off the main road down a side street. Shifting her in his arms, he walked her backward until she felt the hard brick wall of the building against her. He traced a single fingertip down her jawline and simply looked at her as if trying to memorize her face.

“Lucas.” His name sounded more like a question than a statement. She needed to feel his lips on hers, his body tight against hers. Plain and simple, she needed him.

His arms felt warm and strong against the small of her back despite the chill in the December air. He lowered his head until his mouth was only a hairbreadth from her face.

“You can't look at me like that out here in the open and expect me to behave respectably.” Husky and soft, his voice thrummed through her, skating along her nerve endings and turning her knees to water. He tightened his arm around her waist, holding her closer. She could feel the heat from his body radiating off him in waves, and she generated some heat of her own.

He tipped her chin up with his free hand and gazed into her eyes. A faint smile tugged at his lips, and then he brought his mouth down hard on hers. There was nothing gentle in his kiss this time. He plundered her mouth with a fierce hunger, and she met him with equal passion. It roused her blood. Desire flooded her veins, thick and spicy like the Turkish coffee her grandmother use to drink.

As he drove her crazy with his mouth, she twined her arms around his neck to pull him closer. Not a single pound note could fit between their bodies. With a groan, he released her waist, only to move her more fully against the wall, leaving his hands free to stroke her wherever he wanted. With expert fingers, he unbuttoned her jacket and slipped inside to cup her full breast through her knit sweater.

“Lucas,” she whispered against his lips. “We can't do this in public-”

He cut off her words with another kiss. She moaned low in her throat when his thumb traced over her nipple.

“That's it, sigh for me. I love the little noises you make when I tease you.” He placed kisses on her cheeks, her eyelids, and her nose. “Yes, love, just like that.”

She laughed breathlessly and pushed his hand away.

“That wasn't me, Lucas.”

He pulled back and looked down at her in surprise. She gestured over his shoulder. He turned, still holding her in his arms, almost shielding her body with his.

A bobby stood grinning at them in amusement, his hands crossed over his chest. “Not on the street now. Take that back to your flat,” the police officer said sternly, but the twinkle in his eyes belied the seriousness of his tone.

“Yes, Officer, we shall.”

Passions Ignite in 'Jake and Ivy.' A Scorching, Historical, Cowboy, M/F Romance by Jane Leopold Quinn.

BLURB

Ivy Westlake, thought to be a demure young lady, comes alive at her friend’s hacienda in Mexico when she discovers the Flamenco. Her wild side is unleashed in the sensuality of music and dancing. She will not allow her father to force her into a marriage of convenience back East, so she runs away with the dance troupe.

Jake Agee, cowboy, horse trader, loner, has carefully built a life with no commitments. That life explodes in his face when Ivy dances. He doesn’t know she’s run away until he spots her performing in a small California town. He battles his desire to have this woman against his well-honed sense of independence.

Jake and Ivy perform their own style of pas de deux throughout southern California until their passions ignite in a desert cave in the middle of a thunder storm. Jake fights his growing love as Ivy fights her craving for their erotic pursuits. Jake’s long lost brother suddenly and mysteriously surfaces. Will this appearance tear Jake and Ivy apart? Will it destroy their love?

R- RATED EXCERPT

The drawers dropped.

He groaned. Her dancer's body, one long graceful line from head to toe, reminded him of a painting he'd seen in San Francisco. He'd been wandering along Market Street near the Palace Hotel and caught a glimpse of a beautiful naked woman through a window. When he went to investigate, to his embarrassment he discovered he'd entered an art gallery. A painting—a woman rising from a pond surrounded by thick woods. Now he stared stupidly at the very image of the woman in the painting, at the real life woman's pale translucent flawless skin. He had the living breathing Ivy here before him, not unobtainably flat on a canvas.

His palms itched to cover her full white breasts. His body flamed hot wanting the feel of her dark rosy nipples rubbing against his bare chest. And in his mouth. His clenched jaw ached. He growled deeply in his throat at the insistent throbbing of his cock, at the thickening inside his pants. Ravenous to touch her, her breasts, her belly, the dark triangle below it, he swallowed, suddenly nervous.

He lifted a hand to her hair, slipping his fingers through it, fluffing the damp strands out to spill down her back and over her shoulders to teasingly cover her breasts. The woman in the painting, her hair was like this. He'd stood so long in front of the painting that the gallery proprietor had to cough to get his attention. At the time he believed he'd never see a woman's hair like that in the painting. But he was wrong. It was here, within his reach, rich and thick and wildly curling around her breasts, her nipples peeping through. Fingering the length of the waves drifting over her neck and shoulders, his hands shaking slightly, he reached the round cushions of her breasts. His breath caught in his throat as he brushed the backs of his knuckles down the center of her body.

His eyes widened to take it all in, his mouth watering to taste her. His lips softened, his breath rasped. He heard her sharp indrawn gasp and a moan echoed so deeply inside her he could feel its vibration on his fingers. Glancing up, he saw she was watching with fascination as his fingers skimmed around her breasts finally reaching their tips.

She looked up at him then, her lips parted in anticipation, her eyes swimming with desire.

"Mm," she sighed shakily, pursing her lips, her body quivering, her eyes glazed and dreamy as he drew the backs of his fingers over her.

His only reality was his hands on her body, on her hot skin. Curving his palms around her, he caressed her breasts, her neck and shoulders. He'd never made love like this, had no plan of seduction. Yes, he'd had sex before but never with the feeling that this time would be momentous. He wanted it to be good for her. If he was going to take her innocence, he didn't want her to regret it.

"Ah."

He leaned in, their lips meeting, soft at first, just a gentle brush.

"God, Jake." She groaned into his mouth.

Their lips parted momentarily, then his kiss turned savage, his tongue plunging into her slippery mouth and intertwining with hers, filling her until he felt breathless and weak. Her fingers clutched the back of his shirt, nails digging into the skin beneath. The sharp sting kindled a spark in him. His hands raked through her damp hair, cupping her head in his palms, holding her as he moved over her lips, taking control of her mouth.

He caressed her shoulders and neck with his thumbs, nibbling at her brow and eyelids, nuzzling her ear and, with repressed ferocity, he bit her earlobe.

"Jake," she murmured repeatedly. She pulled frantically at the front of his shirt, clumsily unbuttoning it. "I want to feel your bare skin," she demanded, her voice lying low and husky. As the shirt fell open, her hands grazed across his chest followed by the hot softness of her breasts. Crying out at the contact, she kissed his shoulder. Her lips moved down, following her fingers as they skimmed over the light hair covering his chest, following the trail directly to his belly button.

He stopped her hand from going lower. Stupid son of a bitch.

Sensual fantasies were locked in my mind for years until a friend said, "Why don't you write them down?" Why not, indeed? One spiral notebook, a pen and the unleashing of my imagination later, and here I am with more than a dozen books published.

The craft of writing erotic romance has become my passion and my niche in life. I love every part of the creative process — developing characters, designing the plot, even drawing the layout of physical spaces from my stories. My careers have been varied — third grade school teacher, bookkeeper, secretary — none of which gave me a bit of inspiration. But now I'm lucky enough to write romance full time — the best job in the universe!

To Save a Viscount; Book Four of the Spy Series by Jessie Clever. A New Historical Regency Romance

New Release: To Save a Viscount: Book Four of the Spy Series

Blurb:

When an assassin threatens England's spy network, Lady Margaret Folton must find the killer before it's too late.  But when Commodore John Lynwood is accidentally granted a title meant to be used as bait to lure the assassin into the War Office's trap, Margaret must face the tragedy of her past and decide which is more important: the assignment or love?

Excerpt:

London
August 1815

He had grown so accustomed to the sound of gunfire that he did not hear the shot that was meant to kill him.

This would have worried Richard Black, the Duke of Lofton, if he had had time to think on it. But as the situation inherently required immediate action, prolonged and abstract thinking on the subject was neither prudent nor wise. So he refrained. Instead, he wondered who it was that smashed into him at incredible speed, sending him tumbling backwards off the walk along the Thames and into the bitter, black water below.

He had been meeting his contact there along the water at an unholy hour, and darkness had lain all about him. The exchange had gone as planned, and he now held the knowledge that he knew would prove key to his current assignment with the War Office. But as the inky water of the Thames closed over his head, he wondered if he would ever get that information to the necessary people.

And then as the last of the light disappeared, he thought of Jane, his wife. His Jane. He did not think of her in specific instances or certain memories that lay in his mind. He thought of her in pieces. Her smell. Her laugh. The sound her hair made as she brushed it at night. The way she always laid her hand on top of his whenever they should find themselves sitting next to one another. Her amazing talents with chestnut roasters.

He would have laughed if such an action would not speed up the inevitable drowning that suddenly became all too real, flushing thoughts of Jane from his mind. His arms began to push against the water as his feet began to pulse, driving him toward the surface. Only he did not move. Whoever it was that had slammed into him still held him about the waist, dragging him deeper into the water. He began to struggle, the need for air and life and Jane surging through his veins in a way he had never felt before.

And then a hand brushed against his cheek, and slender fingers came to rest across his mouth. He wanted to open his eyes, but he knew it would do no good in the black water. But he let the feeling of his attacker’s hand brush against his skin, the shape of it press into his face, the narrowness of limb and the delicate arch of bone.

It was a woman who held him beneath the water.

And he stopped struggling.

A Bit of Sensual Fun With-- The Brain Exchange by Robin Glasser. A Fun Look At What Happens When A Self Obsessed Male Fitness Guru Switches Mind With A Not So Sexy Woman.

If you could walk in someone else's shoes, would they fit?

This is the line I wrote for The Brain Exchange to attract a publisher or agent. Haven't you ever wondered what it would be like to be somebody else? Whether a celebrity, a bestselling author, a hitchhiker to the galaxy, or even your own best friend? Isn't it human nature to want something you don't have? In my case, I desired to experience being a man for, well let's say, several days, perhaps a week, maybe months!

Don't get me wrong, I adore being a woman but (isn't there always a but) I want to know what a man feels, especially in the throes of passion. Is his orgasm as powerful as mine even though I can have multiples? How does it really feel to carry around all those dangly bits? What does the world look like from a manly point of view?

All these questions needed answers, which is why I wrote The Brain Exchange. Based on a screenplay, called Transformation I'd scribbled many moons ago when I was busily crafting both TV and film scripts, I actually flew to Hollywood to pitch my idea.

Having no uncle, cousin, aunt, sibling or any nepotistic contacts in show biz, I transformed my big movie idea into a book. An avid reader myself, I pay homage to some of my favorite authors by slightly changing the spelling of their characters’ names—example: Jax Reecher is a takeoff on Lee Child’s hero, Jack Reacher.

The following is a taste of what you'll find between the covers of The Brain Exchange:

Sexy celeb Damien Crest says: “In a world of ten billion people, instead of jetting off to vacay in an exotic locale, why not take a trip in someone else’s body? The Brain Exchange is the only place to go for the ultimate getaway. Book a break from your body today!”

Captivated by this commercial, Amana and Steel, both single and dissatisfied with life, decide this is exactly the jolt they need to jumpstart their hamster-wheeling existences. Horny, misogynistic, fitness freak Steel—employed at Crapshoot Dating Service yet has no luck with the ladies—wants to Exchange with Damien Crest, who has no trouble keeping his wicket sticky.

Sweet as the black-market candy she hoards, Amana, a taster for GLOP (GLobal Organic Protein), only wants to Exchange her ample girth for a much slimmer model. A savvy Brain Exchange exec tells her the wait-list for that is eons long—selling Amana on the idea of experiencing life as a man. Due to a major mix-up, Amana awakens in Steel’s six-pack shape. But, instead of the action hero he’d selected, Steel finds himself buried inside layers and layers and layers of flesh belonging to a…woman!

What follows is a ten-year odyssey that changes them dramatically—will it be for better or worse?
