Under a Mating Moon by Celia Breslin-They Are Meant To Be #RomanceNovel #BlackHillsWolves #MF

Blurb:

British Alpha wolf Jake Matthews spends his days among humans, pursuing a lucrative music career and avoiding his pack’s politics. When his current DJ tour takes him to the US, he stops in Los Lobos to visit family, and runs into the one Wolf he never wants to see again—the mate who rejected his claim.

While visiting her brother in Los Lobos, free-spirited Lexi Luparell is shocked to encounter the Wolf she’d denied when they were teens. Now she must face her guilt for the cruel way she spurned him all those years ago, make amends, and admit the truth. Jake was right all along—they’re meant to mate.

Lexi would love to explore the mate concept and her overwhelming attraction to virile, alpha Wolf Jake, but he wants nothing to do with her. How can she break down his defenses when she’s the reason he built them in the first place?

Jake dates only human women now. Lexi had her shot at being his mate, and she threw it away. But when her life is threatened, he may have to rethink his position and do whatever it takes to claim his one true mate.

Excerpt:

A billion butterflies battered Lexi's stomach. She shifted her attention from Ross to the piano. Sure enough, the music had stopped, and Jake faced her from his seat on the bench. Man oh man, the heavy stare from those sky blue eyes sent shivers skittering down her spine. His gaze held the same intensity she remembered from him as a kid, as if he saw into the heart of people, exposing their deepest secrets. It had driven her crazy back then, and she'd spent much time teasing him, pulling his hair, trying to distract him from being so serious all of the damn time. They were teenagers—partying was supposed to be their sole focus.

With his ice-blue stare locked on her, Jake rose to his feet, all taut muscle and predatory power. His energy swept over her like a tsunami, forcing all of the moisture to abandon her mouth while parts much lower wept with want. Her inner Wolf howled, answering the call of this Alpha, the first Dominant male ever to make her sit up and take notice. Holy crap. Her muscles shook with the need to bound over to him, jump in his arms, wrap her legs around his torso and writhe against his hard, hot, tattooed body.

Jake said something to his uncle then stalked straight at her, cutting a path right through the middle of the tables and the many, too-curious patrons.

A whimper escaped her throat.

Surprise sparked in her brother’s brown eyes.

"You're kidding me. Him?"  He burst out laughing. "Wow, sis, that's some major, big-time irony right there."

Darci’s expression conveyed her bewilderment. "Now what are you two talking about?"

Her annoying brother grinned. "See that angry Alpha headed our way? My sister here rejected him when they were teens and he's apparently her—"

Lexi socked her brother in the ribs. "Shut it, Ross."

"Ouch." Ross rubbed his side and chuckled at her plight. The jerk. "Come on, Lexi, you have to admit the hilarity of the situation."

No, she did not. Nor did she have to admit that J-Bird was right all those years ago. He was her mate. O to the M to the G…. They were mates.

Even so, he didn't look happy to see her at all. In fact, he looked positively enraged. Shit, shit and triple shit. What a mess she'd made eight years ago. Well, she was woman enough to pull on her big-girl panties and fix it. She straightened her spine and lifted her chin in challenge, meeting Jake's stormy stare. He halted before her.

I can do this. "Hey J-Bird. Nice to see you." Lovely. Her voice sounded like she'd eaten the gravel from the lot in front of Gee's bar. Embarrassment heated her cheeks.

One breath, two breaths, three…. J-Bird glared. Tension coiled between them in the silence. Lexi bit the inside of her cheek to avoid babbling at him. She'd said hello. It was his turn. Damn it, J-Bird, say something. He wasn't making this easy.

"Alexina."  His arctic tone dismissed her and slapped her in the face at the same time, leaving her disappointed and confused. No one called her by her full name. No one except her parents when she'd done something wrong as a kid. He might as well have said, "Screw you," while slamming a door in her face.

His focus shifted to her brother. "Hello, Ross. Been a while." His hand shot out to grasp her brother's in a cordial shake.

"Good to see you, Jake. Join us for lunch? My treat. We can catch up on old times."

"No, thank you. I'm done. Nice to see you again, Ross." Jake nodded at Darci. "Miss." He brushed past them and out the door.

"What. Just. Happened?" The, “I'm done,” he uttered in his delicious British accent seemed aimed more at her than at her brother's offer. And the fact he hadn't even looked at her before stalking out all sexy in his gloom and doom? Yeah, that hurt.

"I think you know, sis." The amusement left her brother's face and sympathy glimmered in his gaze. "Question is, what are you going to do about it?"

She'd never run from a fight in her life. She wouldn't start now. "Grab a table. I'll be back in a second. Or not."

She ignored her brother's knowing grin and hurried out the door.

The Vessel by Nancy Fraser-Their Forbidden Desires Might Just Save His People #RomanceNovel #Scifi #MF

He’s a career soldier chosen to transport a government protectee to safety. She’s an alien princess who holds the key to the survival of mankind. What’s more dangerous...the possibility of kidnapping by lawless marauders? Or, their own forbidden desires?

Blurb:

A career soldier, Major Liam McGregor has been following strict military orders for over a decade. Considered one of the best by his superiors, it’s not surprising he’s the operative chosen for an assignment that, if successful, could save mankind.

Years earlier, chemical warfare left the women of earth sterile and the population is dwindling fast. The only hope for survival lies in the government scientists’ ability to successfully breed alien females with healthy human males. So far, their attempts have been mediocre at best.

Alora, second daughter of the House of Delawon, is their last hope. A government protectee since her family’s transport crash landed on Earth years earlier, she is the last surviving fempod from Tethys, one of Saturn’s habitable moons.

Together Liam and Alora must travel from the government’s safe house in what used to be the state of Colorado to Traverse City, the new capitol of the United Republic. Their route takes them through both safe and hostile territory.

What poses more of a threat? The lawless marauders who’ll stop at nothing to vanquish their prey? Or, the forbidden desires tempting the soldier and the alien princess?

Excerpt:

“According to what we were told by Dr. Williams, humans are very interested in the mating process, especially for procreation.”

“Sometimes,” he conceded. “Other times it’s nothing more than a tumble between the sheets.” He depressed the accelerator even farther and reset the cruise at one ninety. He needed to get them back to the main highway as soon as possible. This conversation was headed in the wrong direction, just as they’d been during the previous day’s storm.

Much to his chagrin, Alora wasn’t quite finished with the subject. “I accessed the databanks in Dr. Williams’ office to do some research on the mating habits of humans. After Fiona died, I wanted to see for myself if it was as horrible as she’d envisioned.”

“And, what did you find?”

“A lot of technical terms. None of which made sense to me.” She paused and drew a breath. “Fornication, for instance.”

He bit his lip, fighting back a chuckle. “Yes?”

“This is the word your species has given to the act of coupling between men and women?”

“One of them. There are other names for it.”

“Oh, yes,” she agreed. “I found those in the archives as well. There was...uh...coitus and copulation.” She tapped a finger to her forehead, struggling for more euphemisms. “Sex. I found that one interesting since it’s also the word used to define the difference between male and female orientation.”

“Let it never be said there aren’t many routes to the same end when it comes to the English language.”

“And then, there were the...uh...slang terms.”

Oh boy. Liam shook his head, drew a breath for calm, and waited. In an effort to avoid Alora’s take on slang, he asked, “What do you call the mating process on Tethys?”

“Simple. It’s referred to breeding. A term, I might add, once used on Earth when referring to animals.”

“The term was also used for humans in some cases.”

Alora sank back into the seat, released a long sigh, and turned her attention to the passing scenery. A few minutes went by before she spoke again. “Hump, screw, and fuck.”

Liam burst out laughing, unable to stop the welcome release. “You’re a quick study, Alora of Delawon.”

“May I ask you something?”

His shoulders rose and fell on a deep shrug. “I suppose.”

“How many women have done the fuck with you?”

He almost choked on a second round of laughter. “A few.”

“And, did you enjoy it?”

The Vessel is written entirely from the hero’s point-of-view. The challenge of getting (and staying) in the hero’s head is one I enjoy.

Both the e-book and print version contains a map of the United Republic, along with dates of significance to the shaping of the story. (A jpeg of the map is available should any of the tour hosts want to use it.)

What You Crave by #LandraGraf #BDSM #Romance #Contemporary

Blurb:

Sigmund Bermudez has spent the last year out of the BDSM scene, mourning his father, and rebuilding the family business. When he loses a bet to his bodyguard that Madame Eve won’t locate a woman who’s down with his type of kink, he finds himself committed to a date he’s not sure he’ll enjoy.
Lauren Elser has heard about kinky escapades from one of her more challenging patients, and never taken part in one. When offered a chance to explore this undiscovered side of herself courtesy of 1Night Stand she jumps at it.

Neither of them are prepared for the emotional roller coaster that comes with their date, and soon shibari bondage play turns into so much more. The only problem is Sig’s not ready to open up and Lauren doesn’t want to be sued again. If they work past the issues there’s a world of wonder in store.
Short Blurb: Sigmund Bermudez has spent the last year out of the BDSM scene. Lauren Elser has heard about kinky escapades from one of her more challenging patients, and never taken in part in one.

When both of them sign up for a 1NS, courtesy of Madame Eve, they're not prepared for the bonds formed over a little rope play. It's time to confront their fears or faced getting burned.

Excerpt  (PG-13):

Damn. Nervous energy had Lauren’s arms and legs shaking in some strange dance as she stood in front of the hotel room door. She’d read the information Madame Eve sent her half a dozen times over the last week and jumped up and down in joy when the date night details were emailed to her. The turtleneck sweater dress, panty hose, and black suede ankle boots seemed too prim for a rendezvous at a swanky hotel, but the chilly weather had her choosing comfort and warmth over sexy. Besides, scenes weren’t sex.

She knocked, a couple light taps. Maybe he’d changed his mind. A lie since she’d already checked with the front desk.

The barrier swung open and the picture became a reality. Hell, the picture didn’t do him justice. A two-piece pinstripe suit, black hair long enough to run her fingers through, and russet brown eyes taking her in from head to toe…scrumptious.

“Lauren?” Her name came out pure and sensual when spoken with a perfect rolling ‘r’.
A large lump took up residence next to her vocal cords and she responded with a nod. She’d always been more of a listener than a talker.

“Would you like to come in?” He stepped back making a path for her. Beyond the entrance the room sat bathed in shadows and orange light from a lit fireplace, beckoning to her.

Excerpt 3 (Rated: R):

With her limbs tied, her chest wrapped in blue nylon… the sight of those ropes did something to her insides, and she bucked upward. “Yes. Now your hands.”

She wanted his tanned skin against her pale white. Those fingers and palms back on the pearls he’d complimented moments before.

Her limited verbal plea worked because his palms brushed over both peaks. A moan escaped her and she cried, “Please.”

His head came low then, the visual blocked by his hair, but she felt everything. Hot mouth replacing skin, teeth grazing. The seconds dragged on with the administered torture and pleasure to not one, but both of her nipples. Then he whispered, “Do you want me to touch other places?”

She nodded, and a feral smile replaced his neutral expression.

Hot, callused skin connected with hers, sliding down her stomach, past her waist, and heading for the juncture between her thighs. More adventures led her to waxing earlier in the day, and she had a perfect landing strip, trimmed for this occasion. Not that she’d planned on this, but she’d hoped.

“I don’t normally do this.” One hand slipped between lace and flesh.

She shivered. “Then I’m the lucky one.”

A single digit glided over her clitoris and flicked the nub. Panting became her natural state like a dog, and she didn’t dare move for fear he’d stop. Another finger joined the fray, tracing the outside of her labia minora— holy hell! She’d reverted to high school biology terms. The slow movements, the careful exploration, made her crazy. The urge to scream, to cry out for penetration sat so close to the surface and the best way to stow the impulse involved reviewing what he did to her, how he did it.
Finally, he plunged both fingers inside at once and she let out a cry, some insane mewling noise. Her orgasm grew closer. Closer than she expected, but John had been right— delayed gratification increased the satisfaction.

He moved quickly, pumping in and out while tweaking her nipples. The pressure rose, a coiling sensation in her lower back and abdomen preceding the coming eruption, like a balloon ready to explode. She tugged at her bindings, straining against them and loving the burn, the pain they left while the peak rose higher.

As she crested, she called out “John!”

“No,” he said, his voice guttural and rough. “Call me Sig.”

Before she could ask what the hell? her release rushed forth, her legs jolting against the ties and moisture coating the fingers inside her. Eyesight blurred momentarily, the force stronger than ever before but all too soon reality came seeping back in. The name in her mind, the name she’d called, wasn’t real? “Who’s Sig?”

“I am.” He stared her straight in the eyes. The words were true and she felt exposed, manipulated, and embarrassed.

“Red.”

Together, they reach a workable solution: a simulated dating experience in a setting reminiscent of his favorite stories.

After following Madame Eve’s instructions, Caleb finds himself in a vivid fantasy world, complete with a damsel in distress who needs rescuing. His objective is clear, but he must find a way around the many obstacles standing between him and Alizeira, the mysterious woman imprisoned in an underground cell.

While working on his plans to save her, Caleb spends time getting to know Alizeira beyond her role as prisoner, and a mutual attraction develops between them. He is unsure whether she’s a real person playing a part like him, or if she’s simply one piece of the elaborate simulation that’s been programmed for his date. Setting her free is the first step to discovering the truth, but how many secrets is Alizeira hiding

Excerpt:

The full moon illuminated the path. I moved quietly and knelt beside the dark hole in the ground. “Hello?” I whispered. “Are you there?”

The woman appeared beneath me, her upturned face bathed in moonlight. Luscious lips curved into a smile, a reward I might not have deserved. I froze, transfixed by her ethereal beauty, and tried to think of something brilliant and charming to say. “Hi,” I mumbled.

“Hello.” She beamed at me. “You came back.”

“Of course I did.”

“Are you feeling okay?” she asked. “You were unconscious when I first saw you. I feared you might have been hurt.”

“I’m fine.” I ruffled my hair, noting I no longer suffered from a headache. “But what about you? I’d hoped when the guards let me out, they’d do the same for you.”

She shook her head and sighed. “I didn’t mean for this to happen.” Her dark curls obscured her face when she ducked her head and paced back and forth in her cell. For the first time, I saw the iron shackles around her wrists and ankles. Heavy chains dragged and clanked behind her as she moved about. “I knew I shouldn’t go beyond the river, I’d be putting myself in danger, but then when I saw you there….”

Guilt tightened in my chest. Before I could apologize, her hand flew up to her mouth, giving the chains another rattle. “Oh, forgive me! Where are my manners?” She stopped walking and looked back at me with striking eyes. “All this time, and I haven’t even bothered to learn your name.”

“It’s Caleb.”

“I’m Alizeira.”

She extended one pale hand toward me. I reached through the spaces in the grate and took it, wrapping my fingers around hers. Despite the dingy, uncomfortable appearance of the cell, her skin felt soft and warm.

“It’s nice to meet you. Well, not nice, I mean, since you’re stuck down there in the dark and that’s not nice, but I meant you are…uh….” Heat flooded my cheeks as I rambled on. Calm down, I told myself. None of this is real, remember?

Spanked By The Bad Boy; A Smoking Hot Novel by London Saint James.

Blurb:

As the personal assistant to the owner of one of the top engineering firms in Denver, Tiffany Brooks has worked hard at maintaining a professional façade, intent on ridding herself of terrible habits—like her attraction to bad boys. But when the owner of DC Construction rides his chopper into her world two years after their one-time anonymous sexual encounter, everything turns upside down.

Declan Cage is the type of guy who makes a lasting impression, especially with women, yet the gorgeous assistant at Stoub Engineering never remembers his name—or does she? Intrigued by her game, her sexier than sin body, and an infuriating prissy attitude, Ms. Brooks is begging to be taken into hand, and he’s the man to do it.

Armed with the knowledge Declan doesn’t recognize her, will Tiffany give in to her desire for him yet again, or will her past come back to haunt them both and ruin their chance at something real?

General Excerpt:

Tiffany Brooks heard the familiar tocato-tocato-tocato sound of a purring motor. She swiveled in her office chair to look out the window and saw him park his custom chopper next to her car on the paved lot of Stoub Engineering.

Straddling his chrome bike wearing chunky leather-work boots, jeans, and a simple white T-shirt, Declan Cage set her heart to pitter-pat.

She touched her chest and groused, “You’re not attracted to him, Tiffany.”

Tucking a piece of sable-brown hair behind her ear, she straightened her shoulders and put on her toothy-white smile.

“Good morning,” she said when he entered the building.

“Morning, Ms. Brooks.”

She observed him coming toward her desk and willed her face to look pleasant, yet restrained. She needed to keep her gaze particularly uninterested in him although the smug politeness she plastered across her features was hard to accomplish. Declan had a swagger that made her want to gawk at him.

“How are you today?” he asked.

“I’m fine,” she said. “And you?”

“Fabulous.”

Her response was a blank faced, “I’m sorry. I’m not good with names.”

He crinkled his brow, and the muscle in his jaw flexed. Yeah. There it was. The look. She’d definitely gotten under his skin.

“I’m Declan.” He turned slightly to show her his back and gestured over his shoulder toward the logo. The silver skull ring he wore on his thumb gleamed. “From DC Construction,” he said. She couldn’t help but notice the way his muscles bulged beneath the shirt.

“Oh yes.” She waved her hand about.

She knew who he was and had immediately recognized him the first time he’d sauntered into the office over a month ago. She’d played it cool then, and she’d play it cool now. Besides, revealing her little secret would be nothing but detrimental. Yet even if it was a dangerous game, she loved bugging the hell out of him with her I’m-bad-with names thing, especially since she imagined he wasn’t used to a woman forgetting him. Continuing with the I’m-a-busy-professional-who’s-not-impressed-by-you farce, she casually glanced at her laptop, flipped the lid closed, then looked back up at him.

“How may I help you today?”

“Matthew called me this morning. He said he left some plans here and I should come by to pick them up.”

“Plans for the Cherry Hills project, right?”

Declan smiled, and his dimples made an appearance through the brownish stubble on his face. Tiffany shook her legs beneath her desk a couple of times then stopped the nervous movement, glad he couldn’t see them.

“Yes,” he said. “For the parking garage.”

She rolled her chair back and stood, sliding her hands down the sides of her hips, hoping to smooth out any wrinkles in her skirt and secretly wishing to bring attention to her curves. She removed her sweater so the silk and lace tank top hidden beneath could be seen. When she flopped the garment over the back of her chair, she straightened her spine and pressed her ample breasts out.

“Follow me,” she said, tugging at the hem of her shirt.

Satisfied she’d given him a fairly good view of her hourglass figure, she glanced up. Declan stood beside her, and even though she wore four-inch heels, he towered above her. His height sort of intimidated her, but her body didn’t seem to impress him.

Crap.

He pulled a cell phone from the leather holder hooked to his jeans and stared at the screen. “Sorry,” he said in a bored tone. “I forgot to send a text.”

His fingers tapped. He put the phone away in a lackadaisical manner. “Lead on.”

Unwilling to let his lack of interest faze her, she gave Declan her back and walked.

“The plans are in Mr. Stoub’s office.”

“Super,” he said.

She sashayed across the room with her chin held high, stopping at the marble counter across from the conference room and pointing toward the fancy coffeemaker. “There’s fresh coffee. Can I get you some?”

“No. I’m fine. But thanks for offering,” he said.

“Mm.” She continued toward the office, Declan following her. “Well.…” After walking in, she eyed several elongated white tubes sitting on top of the oversized desk and gestured toward one wingback chair.

“Have a seat. It will take me a second or two to find the right drawings.” She walked around the office furniture as Declan sat on the edge of the chair. Picking up one tube, she read the label.

“Sawyer,” she said and set it down in too much of a rush. Her hand accidently hit the other containers. They jostled and started to roll. She tried to stop their momentum, but several of the cylinders went over
the side and hit the floor.

“Geez Louise.” Tiffany sidestepped and bent to get them.

Declan had already jumped up to help her.

“Here, let me,” he said, coming to her side and squatting next to her.

When he reached for the mess, his right arm brushed against the top portion of her left shoulder. She sucked in a breath at the contact and thought her heart would stop from the frisson of energy snapping over her skin. Every part of her body became aware of him. He was potent. And virile. A rough, intoxicating man in his prime.

Refusing to be reduced to a quivering weakling, she reminded herself he was only a man, akin to any other, and turned to see his face. “Thank you.”

He met her gaze. “Anytime.”

Those eyes. The color of the sea. Deep, blue-green, and fathomless. Who was she trying to kid? Declan Cage wasn’t just any man. She looked away and  focused on something else. Tiffany fixed her attention on the clutter she’d created, but she was still watching him—staring at his large hands while he gathered up the blueprint holders. She licked her lips and pictured those hands on her body, fondling her.

Adult Excerpt:

“Straddle me, sugar,” he said in a sandpaper voice, all grit.

Willing to go where she knew she shouldn’t tread, she did what he asked, throwing one leg over his lap, knees sinking into the leather cushion on either side of his denim clad thighs. His hands went to her hips. Slid down farther, where he stopped. His fingertips touched her flesh. Using his thumbs, he stroked the front of her thighs, undoing her. Shivers traversed her arms and legs. Her sex pulsed.

He inched her skirt up, working until the fabric bunched around her waist. When cool air struck the back of her thighs, one side of his mouth quirked up. He appeared pleased with himself for exposing her panties.

“I’ll give you exactly what you crave,” he said and ripped the thong from her body.

Tiffany sucked in a breath. He threw the tattered silk to the floor with his right hand while flicking her clit ring with the forefinger of his left. “Nice adornment.”

He tugged on her piercing, giving her the right amount of pressure. “But you need me to scratch your
itch, don’t you, baby?”

She’d come too far to lie about what she needed now. Nodding, she whispered, “Harder.”

He chuckled, and the sound was a flashpoint of sensation added to the slow stroke of the fingers he’d slipped between her crease.

She leaned forward, hand resting on the top of the sofa by his head, and kissed him. While their tongues tangled, he rubbed her, his other hand going to her hair where he tugged the clip, releasing the long strands. They tumbled down her back in time with his palm curling around the base of her neck, claiming her.

Oh, she liked the way he took possession. Everything feminine inside her needed the pure maleness of him.

Tiffany nibbled at his bottom lip, pulling scant inches from his mouth. “You make me burn,” she admitted.

“The feeling is mutual,” he said and plunged a finger inside of her.

“Ahh, yeah,” she uttered her approval.

He shoved his finger deeper. “You’re so wet.”

“Yes.”

Her hand went to his bulging crotch. She squeezed him through his jeans. He groaned. With nimble fingers, she unbuttoned his fly, freeing his thick cock from the denim. When the heavy head rested in her palm, she smiled. He was fantastic, and she’d known from past experience he’d be commando. Wrapping her fingers around the base of his superb erection, she began to pump him.

“Good?”

“Hell, yes,” he said and fingered her in earnest, inserting another. His thumb pressed hard against her clitoris, sending heated spikes of sensation through her body.

She moaned, spreading the silken pre-cum leaking from him with her fingertip and licking her lips. Tiffany wanted to taste him. Put her lips over the crown. Skim her mouth along his shaft. Take him down the back of her throat. She swallowed, knowing the feeling when she took him inside her pussy would be even better. She needed to experience her sex stretched over the head of his dick again. The fiery invasion. The awareness of being totally filled when he pressed into her tight channel.

Her chest heaving, she mumbled, “Condom.”

“Sorry, sugar. We’ll have to settle for this,” he said. Declan removed his fingers from  her body and tugged her hips down on him before he placed his steel between her feminine folds. “Slide your sweetness along the length of my cock.”

Oh, God. She was so slick, she easily made the glide up and down, her chest rubbing
against his.

In the next instant, he splayed his large hands across her ass, pulling her against him even tighter. This was good, sex without penetration, something she’d never done before, and the delicious sensation had her nipples pebbled hard against the material of her bra, but when he flicked out his tongue, everything got better. She moaned and gave him access to her neck, where he wasted no time and tickled the hollow of her throat before he nipped at the soft flesh with his teeth. She shivered.

“There you go.” The vibration of his deep voice sent a wave of pleasure across the canvas of her flesh. Every part of her body hungered for his touch. He slapped her ass.

She jumped and lost her rhythm—taken aback. “Faster,” he demanded, and she didn’t have time to consider if she liked the swat or not.

He spanked her again. “Move your fine ass.”

She complied, sliding herself up and down. He slapped her ass once more, but this time the sensation sent a buzz to her already-stimulated clit. The joy spreading across her caught— a wildfire.

“Again,” she uttered in a breathy voice.

“Like that, do you?”

God help her, she did.

At the end of this holiday season, he’s stealing more than a “Kissa Under the Mistletoe”.

Excerpt

“Cold? We'll be in the library soon. It's just around the corner.”

“I'm fine.” She lifted her face up to his and met his gaze. Heat flared in his eyes turning them a rich navy. His lips spread into a wolfish grin, as if he could see the images in her head. She was trying to behave, but now she'd had a taste of him, she wanted more.

“I can see.”

He pulled her off the main road down a side street. Shifting her in his arms, he walked her backward until she felt the hard brick wall of the building against her. He traced a single fingertip down her jawline and simply looked at her as if trying to memorize her face.

“Lucas.” His name sounded more like a question than a statement. She needed to feel his lips on hers, his body tight against hers. Plain and simple, she needed him.

His arms felt warm and strong against the small of her back despite the chill in the December air. He lowered his head until his mouth was only a hairbreadth from her face.

“You can't look at me like that out here in the open and expect me to behave respectably.” Husky and soft, his voice thrummed through her, skating along her nerve endings and turning her knees to water. He tightened his arm around her waist, holding her closer. She could feel the heat from his body radiating off him in waves, and she generated some heat of her own.

He tipped her chin up with his free hand and gazed into her eyes. A faint smile tugged at his lips, and then he brought his mouth down hard on hers. There was nothing gentle in his kiss this time. He plundered her mouth with a fierce hunger, and she met him with equal passion. It roused her blood. Desire flooded her veins, thick and spicy like the Turkish coffee her grandmother use to drink.

As he drove her crazy with his mouth, she twined her arms around his neck to pull him closer. Not a single pound note could fit between their bodies. With a groan, he released her waist, only to move her more fully against the wall, leaving his hands free to stroke her wherever he wanted. With expert fingers, he unbuttoned her jacket and slipped inside to cup her full breast through her knit sweater.

“Lucas,” she whispered against his lips. “We can't do this in public-”

He cut off her words with another kiss. She moaned low in her throat when his thumb traced over her nipple.

“That's it, sigh for me. I love the little noises you make when I tease you.” He placed kisses on her cheeks, her eyelids, and her nose. “Yes, love, just like that.”

She laughed breathlessly and pushed his hand away.

“That wasn't me, Lucas.”

He pulled back and looked down at her in surprise. She gestured over his shoulder. He turned, still holding her in his arms, almost shielding her body with his.

A bobby stood grinning at them in amusement, his hands crossed over his chest. “Not on the street now. Take that back to your flat,” the police officer said sternly, but the twinkle in his eyes belied the seriousness of his tone.

“Yes, Officer, we shall.”

Excerpt

His breath caught in his throat as Gabriela emerged from the SUV. She was dressed in a T-shirt, jeans, and purple Converse sneakers. Her honeyed skin and unruly curls were radiant in the afternoon sun.

She reached him first. He extended his hand for a shake. “Gabriela.”

She ignored it to press in for a hug, which he returned stiffly, hyperaware of her soft, warm body against his fast-hardening one. Seemed his body hadn’t forgotten her either. He clenched his jaw as vanilla and jasmine wafted from her hair. She was considerably shorter without the heels, and hell if he didn’t love the greater height difference.

All too soon, she pulled back, her hands still at his waist, and beamed up at him. “Samuel.”

His name sounded exotic and sensual with her slight accent.

He cleared his throat. “Sam.”

“Sam,” she said softly, and his mouth dried in response to the husky tone. The woman could make financial reports sound X-rated with that voice of hers.

“Please, call me Gabi.”

Escape To Africa With Vicki Ballante and Her Paranormal Romance; The Love Commission.

Blurb:

Gelsey is a savannah sprite—a fairy in Africa who works to preserve the earth. She’s a pro at eco-balance, but when the fairy queen gives her a commission to become a human to learn the meaning of love, she’s miserable. She has to give it her best as it’s the only way to get her dream job—to save the African Wild Cat.

After a short time in her new life, Gelsey is swept into the world of Evan’s love. Now, she must make an impossible choice—give up her life with the man who owns her heart or lose her fairyhood forever.

Excerpt

Gelsey thought her head would spin out of control. The strange warm sensations in her tummy made her loathe to eat despite the hunger pangs. Is this what the human love emotion felt like? Something about this man—the way he spoke to her, the way he looked at her, as if she was so important, as if he cared how she felt, stirred the strange feelings.

Even her fairy friends hadn’t connected with a spot deep inside of her. She wished she could tell him of the turmoil in her soul, of the world she had left behind, and of how she missed her home and her friends. Maybe he would care. Maybe he would help her and let her leave early. He would tell her all about human love, so she didn’t have to be trapped a whole year.

“Um, tell me about love,” she said once they were seated opposite each other at the fish restaurant.

She could somehow stomach eating seafood but, being an earth fairy, couldn’t bear to eat the animals she’d spent so many years helping out. According to Ziana, she would be human and forget most of her life as a fairy. The thought of losing all touch with her past had prompted a deep fear in her, and she’d determined never to forget. Thankfully, somehow, she could remember almost everything.

She’d skipped lunch, and the smell of seafood cramped her already empty stomach. Evan had sent her whole day in a crazy direction. She’d been quite happy to spend the rest of her year working in the florist, making pretty arrangements, meeting people, and asking them questions. She wasn’t ready for this marriage thing and had no idea what it entailed.

Evan stared at her. “Love?”

“Yes, tell me how it felt when you fell in love. It seems it happens more than once in a man’s life.”

His eyes twinkled. “This is my first time.”

He looked right into her, his gaze giving off some magic as though he’d been the one to sprinkle fairy dust.

He’d almost bewitched her. If she hadn’t been a fairy, she would be falling into this love thing right this second.

“Why do you ask?”

She shrugged. “I didn’t expect you to answer in such a way.”

“You cut to the chase, don’t you?”

“I beg your pardon?”

“You’re a very innocent person. It’s as if you’ve been sheltered from so much.”

“I’ve lived for the earth and the environment. Love hasn’t featured in my life.”

He took hold of her hand and squeezed it. “I’d like to show you what it’s like.”

Find Decadence, Freedom and Illegal Activities All Within- The Muse. A Contemporary M/F/F Erotic Menage by Nancy Fraser

The Allure of Writing Erotica

Why did I choose to switch from writing romance to writing erotica? It’s a question I’ve been asked at least a dozen times in the past few weeks. My stock answer is … I didn’t.

I’ve always written steamy romance. As a matter of fact, the love scenes have always been my favorite parts of all of my “romance” books. They show emotions and reactions we don’t always see in the other areas of the story.

Erotica, while far bolder than traditional romance, is still a love story … with a bit (or a lot) of kink. In the case of my new release, The Muse, it’s also a sense of adventure. Erotica gives your characters a blank slate to discover who they are, both emotionally and sexually, without the recriminations that come with the guidelines a romance must follow.

In a word, erotica is “freedom” for both the characters and the author.

I began writing The Muse as a submission call for publisher with whom I had a previous relationship. The idea put forth in the call was for something historical but with far more heat than their usual books. We were told, no holds barred … whatever we wanted to write. I took that to heart and began crafting something that not only set my characters free but me, the writer, as well.

About three chapters into the book, I began having second thoughts. What if I wasn’t up to the task? I thought about tucking the half-written manuscript away but couldn’t. In that beginning I found a new spark, a “freedom” my writing had been lacking. So, I kept going. The original “call” was eventually cancelled, but by that time the story was alive and thriving and begging to be finished.

Once I’d completed, edited, and nipped and tucked, I began researching the market, looking for just the right place to submit my first attempt at erotic romance. (I refused to relinquish the idea that, deep down, this was a romance.) I knew one thing for sure, it had to be someone who wasn’t going to change their mind mid-stream. A friend steered me to Decadent Publishing and I couldn’t be happier.

Writing an erotic romance worked wonders for re-igniting a spark in my creativity. And, while erotica might not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s certainly an exciting way to explore that naughtier side we all have tucked away within our subconscious.

Whether you write, or read, erotic romance (or both), I hope you’ll enjoy my first release in this genre. I have already signed a second contract for another Roaring Twenties novella and I’m looking forward to sharing The Mysterious Mrs. Pennybaker with my readers by early next spring.

Decadence, freedom and illegal activities…

Everything a sheltered debutante in the mid-1920s could want. When Hyde Park socialite Susan Leland meets up with Evan Forrester for the second time, she makes no excuses for their first meeting—an auto accident in which she broke the young artist’s wrist. She finds the handsome Evan both infuriating and intriguing, yet not quite as intriguing as sultry torch singer Holly Winters, a performer at Susan’s favorite supper club.

A chance to make amends…

By posing nude for Evan to paint. When Susan balks, Evan, not wanting to deal with an innocent, sends her away but not before the arrival of his next model, Holly Winters. As Susan’s preparing to leave, the beautiful and talented singer convinces her to come back the next day—so they can pose together.

Will Susan find happiness in the arms of Evan Forrester—or another?

Excerpt:

Evan shook his head and reached for the robe lying against the edge of the settee. “Here, put this back on.”

“But….”

“This was a bad idea. You need to dress and get out of here.”

Susan took the robe from his outstretched hand and wrapped it around her body. “I thought you wanted to paint me.”

“I did, or, at least, I thought I did. However, I’m the wrong fellow to be coaxing an innocent young girl into taking her clothes off. The nudes I paint don’t just lie there.”

“They don’t?” she asked, uncertain of exactly what he meant, yet curious all the same.

“No, Susan, they don’t. Believe me when I tell you, you’re not ready for what I require.”

She was about to ask him to explain when a knock sounded at the door. “I thought we had until three.”

Evan glanced up at the antique clock on the far wall. “What can I say? Some dames are actually anxious to pose for me.”

He left her standing in the middle of the studio to answer the door, returning moments later with his next model holding tightly to his arm. Susan’s eyes widened in surprise.

He nudged the woman forward. “Holly, this is Susan. Susan, may I present Holly.”

The beautiful singer took a step in her direction. “I saw you at the club last night, didn’t I?”

“Yes. I’m a big fan.”

Holly shrugged her slim shoulders. “Thanks. It pays the bills.”

Evan urged Holly toward the dressing room. “Get changed, doll. Susan and I are just finishing up here.”

Once Holly had left the studio, Susan turned back to where Evan stood, organizing his paints. “I’m sorry this didn’t work out.”

“It’s not your fault,” he told her, preferring to examine his brushes rather than meet her gaze. “I should have realized this wasn’t your type of entertainment.”

“Maybe we could—”

He shook his head. “I don’t think so. Just scram, okay?”

Susan made her way out of the studio, reaching the makeshift dressing room just as Holly Winters came through the door. “Excuse me,” she said softly, embarrassed at having collided with the singer.

Holly laid her hand against Susan’s shoulder, steadying her. “No worries, sweet cheeks.”

Lifting her hand, she brushed her fingertips across Susan’s chin, the slope of her throat.
“Perhaps we’ll run into each other again. Maybe even pose together if you’d like.”

Susan’s skin warmed beneath Holly’s touch. “I don’t think I’m coming back.”

“That’s a shame. Your alabaster skin against my darker coloring would have made a magnificent contrast.” Holly paused, and then dusted Susan’s cheek with her hand. “Think about it. If you’re interested, I’m usually here every day sometime between two and four. It’d be the kitten’s mittens if you’d join us.”

The invitation given, Holly stepped past her and headed for the room beyond. Susan’s heart raced as fast as a drummer’s solo in the middle of the latest jazz song. She clutched tightly at the dressing gown she’d wrapped around her half- naked body. She’d been so certain, so accepting of her decision to pose for Evan. Yet when push had come to shove, she couldn’t relax, couldn’t allow herself the very sensual freedom she’d been wanting for so long.
Now, it no longer mattered. Holly Winters had arrived for her sitting, and Susan’s chance at daring had been lost. Evan had dismissed her, claiming he’d made a mistake in asking her in the first place.

A sound from the studio drew her attention like a moth to flame. The scrape of furniture across the hardwood floor reverberated through the entire loft. Susan edged closer to the sound, to the door Evan had left open a few inches. Her breath held tightly in her chest, she peeked through the narrow opening.

Holly lay on the velvet settee. Unlike Susan, the torch singer had no shyness about her, no reservation against shedding her clothes. She relaxed back against the dark red background, wearing nothing more than a strand of pearls and a bejeweled headband cocked teasingly across her brow. One arm was stretched strategically above her head, the other lay passively at her hip, her long, well- manicured fingers feathering across the thatch of hair at the apex of her trim thighs.

Susan’s throat tightened. As attractive as the woman was fully clothed, she was even more beautiful wearing nothing at all.
